Denver business owner struggling after city bans food trucks downtown: ‘We had zero say’

The city of Denver is making an attempt to overcome soaring criminal offense by banning the operation of foodstuff vans in downtown regions.
Operator of RJ’s Tacowich Food items Truck Leilani Johnson joined “Fox & Friends 1st” Friday to discuss the new shift, which compelled her to transfer her business and has damage her economically.
Removing the foods trucks from the city blocks could turn out to be everlasting, as town officers are seeking to lessen crowds and avert crimes, Denver police explained to Fox News Electronic.

“It feels horrible. And as a new enterprise, a female in business, it truly is just really hard. It can be by now tough. And now we are earning it even more challenging,” Leilani Johnson, told ABC Denver.

Johnson reported she has not professional people issues and isn’t going to consider the shift will reduce criminal offense.
“I have in no way felt threatened or unsafe functioning downtown with my woman co-worker. We operate shifts til 2-3:00 in the early morning,” stated Johnson, who still left her educating job a year ago to open up her food truck.
