Thomas brings business-management past to real estate profession

According to Harvey Thomas, the best part of his career as a Realtor has been the people he’s met. A professional real estate agent for more than 15 years, Thomas is a Realtor with the Greenwich brokerage office of Sotheby’s International Realty.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Thomas worked in management consulting, marketing and sales management. He began his career as a management consultant with Booz, Allen, and Hamilton, where he was responsible for strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions.

Thomas went on to work at International Paper Company, where he held positions in corporate marketing and sales. He brings this wealth of executive experience to his real estate business.

Thomas’ clients are diverse, with varying objectives — from first-time homebuyers to downsizing sellers/buyers. He prides himself on being a good listener and effective communicator, and vows to manage the entire process of buying, selling or renting with integrity, professionalism and discretion.

Thomas has lived in Greenwich for more than 30 years. He and his wife raised two sons who attended both public and private schools. He remains active in civic, school and church activities. Thomas graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School; he is a member of the Harvard Schools and Scholarships Committee. He is also a member of the Field Club of Greenwich, Harvard Club of Fairfield County, Greenwich Land Trust, Audubon of Greenwich and Round Hill Community Church.

In his free time, Harvey enjoys playing squash and tennis, and boating on Long Island Sound.
