As part of TSG, our Workplace Technology team is responsible for the strategy, engineering, and strategic deployment activities for all end user services, including mobile services, Windows physical and virtual desktop, Mac, Microsoft 365, email, chat, collaboration, and related technologies. The Role Workplace Technologies is seeking a Workplace Adoption Lead. You should have existing experience in a broad range of technologies and adoption skills across business areas. You will be interested in leveraging your strategic planning, change management and relationship building skills to help shape the end user experience for Workplace Technology? We are seeking a seasoned professional with workplace experience or product management to drive our people experience. In this role, you will work with BNYM business leaders, their teams and TSG Service Owners to manage the end user impact of new technology and significant feature releases. You will facilitate change management to support new workplace technologies including leading end users through the change as well as ensuring support partners are prepared to support the products once turned over to production. This role is intended to increase the emphasis on the employee experience by identifying and planning for their needs as it relates to products within Workplace Technology. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. You must be an excellent communicator, with an ability to guide stakeholders in defining scope and effectively using resources. Responsibilities: Drives the Workplace Technology agenda relative to engaging the Workplace Champions Community. Responsible for building the community of practice specific to Workplace Technology Serve as one of the primary points of contact with WT teams and business leaders to understand business direction and changing workplace needs and how that informs Workplace Technology service offerings Conduct interviews and discussions with teams and leaders to gather and synthesize functional and operational requirements. Develops comprehensive plans to support the business and technology team needs as it relates to Workplace Technology Identifies, analyzes and applies related data in regards to the creation and execution of workplace solutions. Engage with employees at all levels of the organization from project inception through delivery, providing customized support to accelerate adoption of agile work. Effectively lead and manage sensitive, difficult or demanding conversations and situations. Partners with WT and other TSG Stakeholders on the development of program materials such as timelines, narratives, presentation decks, communications and engagement guides. Review and improve the current change management program to enable our employees’ transition to new technologies Partners with lines of business and technology stakeholders to develop necessary learning opportunities, to include engagements such as panel discussions, tours, training, etc. Develops metrics to qualify and quantify success and value to the business Advises application development leadership in identifying and solving highly-critical business issues. Maintain senior level business and operations relationships to ensure business needs are addressed Provides technical leadership in a specific business domain within a line of business. Serves in a cross-program role to ensure quality of the deliverables within their areas of expertise and drives innovation and strategic solutions within global, mission-critical, large-scale programs. Provides expertise for a specific domain within a line of business. Directs and assists team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize requirements, translate into functional design and use case models. Manages the project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions for a large, strategic, multi-year program. Provides guidance in development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation. Leads implementation/conversion strategy planning and implementation. Manages scope and change throughout the initiative utilizing formal change control and requirements traceability. Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address strategic business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas. Participates in industry forums and keeps current on domain knowledge for their specific business and application areas of expertise. Applies experiences with existing software and/or systems development processes to define and collect metrics and develop better processes to be used in the future.
